Unsanitary Conditions; Avoiding Inspections

Submitted via CCEJN outreach worker: I am writing to inform you of a serious matter that was reported to me by two anonymous individuals from GSF NUT COMPANY LLC, located at 120 Road, Orosi, CA. They contacted me out of fear of retaliation. They reported the following critical violations: - Unsanitary conditions: There is a severe rat infestation and an unbearable odor on the premises, making it impossible for them to eat in their designated areas; - Concealment of evidence: Workers are strictly prohibited from bringing cell phones inside, which prevents them from taking photos of these conditions; - Avoiding inspections: The company seems to know when inspectors are coming. They perform a superficial cleanup that lasts 2 to 3 months before conditions deteriorate again; - Retaliation: The agency reduces the hours of workers who complain, causing them significant financial loss. I believe this is a serious violation of labor and health regulations.
